Hey y’all!
There’s a lot of big moves happening in GTM tech right now. Just this week:
Clay had its biggest quarter ever. “We hit 157% of company target in Q3. We broke our all-time largest deal record... then broke it again.”
Rox posted that they’re growing “faster than any other GTM technology ever.”
Nooks raised half a billion dollars (yes, billion) in non-dilutive growth capital. (We covered the news here)
Monaco gave away $100,000 in “the greatest Sales Leader event of all time” (a poker tournament).
Lemlist added $6M in ARR in just 2 months (+10%) which is “the fastest growth ever recorded at lemlist.”
It’s all so exciting. And dizzying.
As we discussed last week, AI Adoption is coming in waves: coding was first, support was second, and GTM is next.
If you talk with almost anyone, they’ll tell you that their spend on AI in GTM has not *definitively* paid itself back yet.
So, with all the recent investment into GTM tech, when will we see productivity in GTM inflect and catch up with AI capability and spend?
At the same time, this week, the Nasdaq 100 closed down 6.4% (it’s worse day since the Covid crash on March 16, 2020 …my birthday). And Anthropic’s IPO valuation has dropped 40% over the last three weeks: from $2T down to $1.2T.
The whiplash in the market is jarring. With extraordinary swings.
The bull case—if you’re super AI-pilled (I am)—is simple:
AI is nowhere near “over” (it’s only just getting started).
Corrections are healthy.
I don’t know where we’ll end up. But I’m having a blast along the way. Let’s see how the next few weeks turn out as we head into next year. I think 2027 is going to be wild.
Weekly GTM Roundup
It’s
turtlessales all the way down…Never too early to start thinking about giving back over the holidays. Last year Cameron raised $9,000 and bought 500+ jackets. He said:
“It was a small way for me to honor the life and memory of my brother, Shelby, who passed in 2024 after nearly 20 years on and off the streets addicted to drugs. I was constantly worried and wondering ‘is he safe’ / ‘is he warm?’ / ‘is he dry?’ Anytime he could get his hands on a new coat, or some warm clothes, it meant the world to him (and me).”
This year, Cameron is partnering with 32 Degrees and they’re giving 1-for-1 jackets as well. I made a donation. And if you feel compelled, listen to Cameron talk about this campaign and consider donating.Clarify (autonomous CRM) x The Swarm (warm intro engine) = magic.
This set-up can alert you proactively, say, every Monday morning, on which 3 people you should reach out to for a warm intro into your accounts. Check out this 60 sec demo.
What happens to GTM Engineering when Clay (and others) get easy to use? Here’s my take:
Speaking of technical GTMEs…
Drew Bredvick, Director of GTM Engineering at Vercel (and Austin local!) shared this banger about “event driven programming with a normalization layer for unstructured data is the OP combo for building agents” -

Elaine is awesome. Check out this wild workflow she shared last week:

The GTM community lost an amazing human this week: Adam Robinson.
I was lucky enough to get to know him here in Austin. Even from the handful of times we hung out, talked on the phone, and texted, he had an outsized impact on how I think about business, but more importantly, life (prioritizing family and building the way you want). I plan to share more of my thoughts at some point.
This video that Jesse made about Adam is amazing. It captures who he was as an entrepreneur and a person. If you want to scroll more posts of the impact he had, you can do so here (it’s beautiful).
For today, I’ll leave you with this quote from a LinkedIn post by Adam, from September 2025:
What a gift - to have something so interesting and dynamic to work on every day.
And with such talented people.
Entrepreneurship is truly the greatest, most interesting game in the world.
The sad thing is that some day the music will just stop.
For me, for my biz, for you, for all of us.
At that point, I’m only have one regret…
That I couldn’t just do it all over again.
So I’ll just keep building.
—Adam Robinson
RIP 💛
That’s it for today. Hold your loved ones close. Don’t take yourself too seriously. But take life itself very seriously, it’s such a gift.
As always, thank you for your attention and trust. I do not take it for granted.
With gratitude,
Brendan 🫡
